Essay

Object of study - the mushrooms of the Russula genus in the Pre-Carpathian forest stands. Purpose - to establish the regularities of the genus Russula species distribution in the Pre-Carpathian forest stands, their species structure, seasonal dynamics and volumes of fruitage, to develop recommendations for the rational use of mushroom resources in the region. Research methods. Silvicultural and valuation methods, phenological, morphometric, biochemical, variation statistics. Scientific novelty - the 18 new species of the the genus Russula in the Pre-Carpathian forest stands in the Ukraine have been found; species features of the morphometric parameters of the species Russula fruit bodies have been identified, based on which a new approach to the yielding capacity assessment has been proposed, an approximate biological and operational volumes of the major genus Russula species under the conditions of the forest plantations in the Pre-Carpathian has been proposed; the data on the genus Russula spesies patterns distribution for the main types of the growing conditions site in the study region, patterns of the main environmental factors, silvicultural and valuation forest plantations mensurations and forest management impact on the species structure and fruitage of the study species, the methods of a forecasting and a crop accounting of the mushrooms have been enhanced and complemented. Numerical data of optimum indices of light intensity ranges, the air and soil temperature, the amount precipitations, necessary for the growth and development of the mushrooms fruit bodies have been established; the influence of the amount and intensity of a current precipitation at the beginning of species Russula fruitage; the features of a basidimata and their parts day growth. The practical significance. The biological and operational volumes of main mushrooms of the genus Russula under the conditions of forest plantation in the Pre-Carpathian and the ways of their rational use have been established. An efficient way to expand the range of the studied species fruit bodies processing has been offered. The practical recommendations for the species Russula fruitage prediction have been developed. Field of application: forestry.
