Essay

The dissertation is devoted to theoretical research of electric polarization in electrically neutral superfluid systems. A theory of superfluidity of rarefied Bose gas is constructed taking into account the internal degrees of freedom of bosons. The equation for the two-particle order parameter is obtained and solved. It is shown that inhomogeneity of the system creates a dipole moment proportional to the density gradient. It is found that vortices in a magnetic field acquire quantized electric charges. A method for experimental observing quantized vortices in liquid helium based on electric fields generated by these charges is proposed.
