Essay

The objects are introducents of the Cotoneaster Medik. family. The aim is to study of adaptive mechanisms of plants of the Cotoneaster Medik. family. The methods are generally ecological, physiology-biochemical and statistical. It was set the features of the water mode as an index of cotoneaster's drought-resistingness, energetic exchanges (breathing of leaves and escapes, intensity of photosynthesis, content of photosynthetic pigments), as criterion of ecological plasticity. It was defined a character of accumulation of osmotic-activity matters in the cotoneaster's vegetative organs as basic stress protectors, and also indexes of cold- and drought-resistingness of plants. It wasinvestigated the efficiency of the antioxidative system (the activity of peroxidase, katalase, the content of proline, glutatione, ascorbic acid, karotines) at the terms of contamination motor transport extrass. Application sphere are planting of greenery of cities training courses.
