Essay

The object of study: the processes of socio-economical development in the region. The aim of study: theoretical grounding of basic directions and the development of practical recommendations in order to improve the efficiency of regulation of economical processes in the region. Methods of study: comprehensive and systematic-scientific approaches; general scientific and special methods of research: the systematization and theoretical generalization; comparative method; economical and statistical analysis; clustering; methods of induction and deduction. The practical significance of results lays in the fact that the basic directions for the improvement of the efficiency of regulation of economical processes in the region, that were used during the work of regulatory and administrative authorities of Donetsk region, were developed. Scientific novelty of results lies in fact that it was the first time when the mechanism of program and goal-oriented planning of socio-economic development of the region was developed and suggested. Were implemented: methods of analysis and evaluation of the current state of functioning of economic processes in the region; the mechanism of complex analysis of the effectiveness of programs' improvement; a number of measures for the improvement of the efficiency of regulation of economical processes' development in the region. Further developments have got: elements and principles of the model of the most effective ways of development of economic processes in the region, taking into account the structural and qualitative deformed territorial complexes of predominantly extensive type; the stages of formation of industrial sector in the region basing on the clustering; principles of state support of public-private partnership (PPP).
