Object of researches. Height, development, productivity, f?tomel?oration and forage properties of Eichhornia crassipes(Mart.) Solms in the conditions of Polesye of Ukraine. Methods of researches. At implementation works were used both scientific and special methods of researches. Basic method of researches - the field, laboratory, instrumentation-gravimetric, design, zootechnic, comparatively-calculation and statisticalScientific novelty of the got results. On the basis of undertaken studies first: - from ecological and economic positions perspective of the use is reasonable in the conditions of Polesye of Ukraine of macrophytes of type of Eichhornia crassipes(Mart.) Solms for maintenance of ecological equilibrium in reservoirs and natural landscapes; - the ecological features of this kind are set in the conditions of Polesye of Ukraine; are the studied features of their height and development depending on the abiotic factors of environment; - certain feed and power value of eichhornia; it is reasonable possibility of their use in the feed of agricultural animals. Degree of introduction. The results of researches drawn on at development of recommendations in relation to the use of eichhornia wonderful in f?tomel?oration and forage aims. These researches allow to promote the productivity of agricultural animals due to feeding to them of green mass of еichhornia and passed productive approbation in "Edelweiss" of Striz?vka tо the district Lubarsky of the Zhytomyr area.
