In this paper, theoretical generalization and new solution to improve process of hydro abrasive hole cutting in thin honeycomb products made of composite materials, aimed at improving the quality of treatment based on the analysis of interaction of heterogeneous layered medium with transient two-phase flow of small diameter. It is shown that the cutting of small diameter holes comes from hydrodynamic effects with simultaneous formation of micro cracks and from the actual abrasive jet cutting body blanks with the formation of micro shavings.
