Essay

In the presented work application of a mixture model with varying concentrations to analysis of survey sample data with incomplete information is considered. The case of dependent observations is studied. Namely, dependence arises from presence of simple random sampling without replacement in the sampling plan. The aim is to estimate the average values of some characteristic of elements by mixture components. Several variants of this problem are considered. For estimation linear, quadratic estimates and the maximum likelihood estimates are used.
