Essay

Thesis is devoted to the problem of internal pipeline contactless ultrasonic inspection of main pipelines in technological conditions. It was proposed to take into account and use of environmental conditions of transported through the pipeline medium, to match the acoustic impedance of ultrasonic transducer and control object. The methodology of losses estimation across the acoustic path was improved. The generalized methodology for evaluation of ratio of surface and bottom echo-pulse during non-contact ultrasonic testing in a gaseous environment was developed. According to experimental results it was confirmed the possibility of noncontact ultrasonic testing of pipeline wall thickness under conditions close to the technological conditions of internal pipeline diagnostic. An improved method of developed method of contactless ultrasonic testing under conditions of internal main pipeline technical diagnosis on basis of developed experimental setup was validated.
