Object - process of discontinuous frictional hardening of flat surfaces. Purpose - increasing the efficiency of frictional hardening of parts by ascertainment logic patterns of thermoelastic and dynamic characteristics of surface hardening process and changing the stiffness of the technological system. Scientific novelty - dynamic model of discontinuous frictional hardening of the flat surfaces was developed, which determine the influence of geometric parameters and modes of treatment on the hardening. The practical value - design the tool and device with variable stiffness. The level of implementation - implemented at the plant "Polymer-Electron". Sphere (branch) of implementation - mechanical engineering and metalworking.
