Yegorchenko T. Development of theoretical and methodological principles of energy security in the region

The thesis is devoted to the elaboration of theoretical and methodological principles of energy security in the region, considering the energy consumption patterns, the available energy potential and the regional specific features of the organization of economic activity. The following is developed: approach to energy safety ensuring in the region. The essence of the concept energy safety of the region is defined, which allowed to prove its strategic goal as a stable supply of energy consumers in the region through the effective functioning of the FEC, which supplies the subjects of economic activity and population with various kinds of energy, using internal and external sources of energy provided to minimize adverse impact on the environment. Systematization of the factors of energy safety of the region ensuring is proposed, which in contrast to the existing ones allows to differentiate them depending on the level of formation of energy safety, the impact object and the scope of factors impact. The approach reveals the definition of the organization of energy safety ensuring of the Crimea on the basis of alternative energy. Conceptual directions of alternative energy development in the Crimea are offered, taking into account the potential of alternative energy resources, characteristics of energy production technology and modern energy saving technologies.
