Essay

The object is wolf (Canіs lupus). The aim is to study the ecological features of wolf in anthropotexnogenic landscapes of a south-eastern Ukraine. The methods ate field, laboratory, statistical. The changes in the density of wolves of south-eastern regions of Ukraine for the 40-year period were studied. The eastern region of Russia was determined asthe likely source of replenishment of the population. It was revealed that at present wolf actively inhabits Crimean peninsula. The major factors determining changes of quantity of representatives of a species were analyzed. Morphological parameters of sexual and age features variation of a wolf were revealed. Comparison of morphological parameters of predators of a south-eastern Ukraine with other populations from different fields of an area was held. The population and generative frame of a wolf was researched. Interrelations of various types of holes and their detailed description were executed. The nutrient budget of the wolf in species of age and seasonal changes and conditions of its formation were analyzed. The role of the wolf in biocenosis of a south-eastern Ukraine and its influence on frame of zoocenosis was studied. Influence on diffusion of parasites was researched. Various sexual and age features of the wolf were examined as indicators of accumulation of heavy metals. Application spheres are hunts, training courses.
