Demydenko S. Theoretical and applied principles of the assurance of economic modernization of a region

The object of the study - the processes of preconditions formation and the implementation of economic modernization of Ukraine's regions; the purpose of the study: the development of scientific principles, theoretical propositions and guidelines to ensure economic modernization of Ukraine and its regions for the improvement of social transformation effectiveness, the assurance of long-term growth and the improvement of population quality of life; research methods: situational and logical-structural analysis, correlation and regression, matrix, index, statistical treatment and information generalization; theoretical and practical results: the improvement of theoretical approaches to the disclosure of economic modernization nature, the technique of estimation of economic modernization in the region, the model of economic modernization in the region, the mechanism of its assurance; characteristics of modern methodological approaches to assessing of regional modernization, the research of innovation and investment preconditions for economic modernization of Ukraine's regions and their clustering, the determination of the trends of structural changes of macroeconomic and regional development, the implementation of integrated assessment of economic modernization of Ukraine's regions based on proposed methodology have been further developed; the degree of implementation: CHODA, CSTU; the field of application: regional economy.
