Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of changes in microplastic and micromechanical characteristics of Si crystals under the action of different magnetic fields. A number of effects which are all refered to as magnetoplastic effect (MPE) were experimentally investigated. MPE is changees of dynamical behavior of dislocations under the influence of different magnetic fields. Magnetico-stimulated process of the evolution of defect-impurity state in the vicinity of dislocations was found out. Studying the effects conditioned by combined action of magnetic fields together with technological process showed the influence of low energy X-ray radiation and thermal processing of silicon crystals on the peculiarities of the occurrence of the magnetoplastic and magnetomechanical effects in them.
