The dissertation covers the analysis of the Crimean war campaign held by the Ottoman Empire. The peculiar attention is paid to the reconstruction of the warfare of the Ottomans expeditionary force under the command of Grand Vezir Gedik Ahmet Pa?a in 1475. Chronologically the war actions during the third quarter of the XV century are reflected. The historical processes are covered as well as their preconditions in the international relations beginning from the seizure of Constantinople in 1453, when the state formations of the Crimean peninsula faced the real danger of the Ottomans' expansion and up to the direct intrusion of the Ottomans army into the territory of Crimea. The dissertation is the first complex research where the written and archeological sources analysis allowed to define six various reasons of the Ottomans expansion into Crimea. The Crimean campaign of the third quarter of the XV century had the following results: the Ottomans obtained the dominant role in the Black Sea Region and created the basis for further attack on Moldavia. The coastal territories and highlands became the Ottomans. Due to that in the next centuries the Ottoman Empire could - with the support of its vassal, the Crimean Khanate - influence a lot the policy of the East-European countries.
