Essay

The calculation of energy states, r.m.s. radii, density distributions, charge form factors, two-nucleon correlation functions, momentum distributions, cluster coefficients in 3H, 3He, 4He nuclei is carried out using effective variational method with optimized gaussian bases. All the main structure functions of few-nucleon nuclei are analyzed. New variants of nuclear interaction potentials are proposed, they allow to describe all the main experimental characteristics of two-, three- and four-nucleon systems.
