Kazemirska M. Fritillaria montana Hoppe (Liliaceae Juss.) in Ukraine (chorology, structure of populations, conservation).

The thesis presents the results of comprehensive populational and biological studies of F. montana that were conducted in Ukraine for many years. The questions of distribution and habitat coenotical affinity has been studied. The character of variations of biomorphological parameters of individuals and the karyological and anatomical characteristics of individuals has been described. Features of reproduction biology of the species have been investigated. Age spectra of F. montana populations and vitality structure of F. montana populations has been established. Its ontogenetic tactics and life strategy of F. montana have been established.Some suggestions on conservation of the species and revival of its populations in Ukraine have been worked out.
