. Object is the processes of forming and introducing of the municipal management system by means of strategic management; purpose is development of theoretical and methodical bases of strategic management of city development as a socio-ecological-economic system and applied aspects of increase with its help effectiveness of municipal management; methods are: abstraction, monographic, structural and functional, economic-statistical, comparative analysis, survey, abstract-logical, economic-mathematical, program-target, graphic constructions; theoretical and practical results are: working out of analysis techniques of cities interposition , methodical recommendations "The mechanism of design and implementation of development strategies" for the cities of Kherson and Tsiurupinsk, in educational processes of the National University of Shipbuilding; novelty are: theoretical and methodical approaches to comparison of the local community current development to those desirable for it; they have been improved, the correction of the chosen strategy with the proposed coefficients of similarity and expected trends; introduction degree - Executive Committee of Tsyurupinsk City Council (ref. № 4-10/48 of 06.12.2011 р.), Executive Authorities of Kherson City Council (ref. №1-13- 55 of 29.02.2012 ), Pervomaisk District Administration (ref. № 1086-01-41 of 06.12.2012), National University of Shipbuilding - in the courses of Regional economy, National Economy, Management of organizations (ref. № 11-43 of 04.09.2012); sphere (branch) of application - regional economy, management, higher education.
