Essay

The object of research: electromechanical energy conversion processes in welding stand-alone induction generators with inverter excitation. The purpose of research: development, creation and study of induction generators with inverter excitation for stand-alone welding setup of the proposed mathematic models, calculation techniques and technical solutions. Methods of research: methods of instantaneous, equivalent circuits, fitting, numerical integration Rozenbrok's technique, continuous approximation to the first harmonic, the decomposition of periodic signals in the Fourier series, the Taylor expansion, correction LACh, mathematical modeling and physical experiments. Theoretical and practical results and innovations: scientifically substantiated the possibility of creating welding stand-alone induction generators with inverter excitation, character of electromagnetic processes and performance of generator with vector space pulse width modulation is founded, the analytical dependence of the minimum resistance range of DC-side and slip on system parameters that possible to specify the region of existence of self-excitation mode and provide a valid operating regions is provided, a linear mathematical model of this generator is proposed due to the transfer function generator that allowed us to establish control laws output voltage and current during welding is obtained. A subject degree of introduction: educational process of the Department of electromechanical equipment consuming industries National Technical University of Ukraine "KPI", Kyiv, industrial production institute welding and insulation technology in the construction of pipelines "Naftohazbudizolyatsiya" (Kyiv) intends to take part in the work on the creation of stand-alone welding systems based on the proposed generator, ensures their testing and implementation.. Effectiveness of implantation:expanding features of the stand-alone induction generators with inverter excitation. Sphere of use: stand-alone welding setup with constant and variable speed.
