Nikolaiev K. Determination of the ways of ecologization and development of rural tourism in the Western Polis'ya

The given thesis is devoted to the study of prerequisites and necessity of tourism activity ecologization. It has been substantiated that rapid and unorganized development of tourism causes negative impact on main environmental components, intensifies nature exploitation, causes pollution of atmosphere, water objects, soils, leads to natural landscapes degradation, flora and fauna elimination. The environmental and social-economic significance of rural tourism development on the territory of the Western Polis'ya has been determined to be one of the approaches to complex ecologization of tourism activity. The main ways of tourism activity ecologization (including rural tourism) have been given (recommended) for the Western Polis'ya and Ukraine on the whole. Schematic maps of rural tourism development in Volyn and Rivne oblasts have been developed. The essence of environmental certification of tourism objects and its significance for ecologization of tourism on whole has been determined. The structure of typical environmental passport of tourism territory and objects has been developed and its regional approbation on tourism zone Svitiaz of Shatsky National Natural Park has been conducted.
