Object of research: processes and economic relations, linked to increased competitiveness of region. Purpose: development and justification of theoretical positions and methodological-applied recommendations to improve the region's competitiveness in the context of forest production. Methods: theoretical generalization, systematization, analysis and synthesis, discriminant, statistical analysis and index, economic modeling, combined quality control, cluster analysis and the formation of dendrites, expert assessments, induction and deduction. Novelty: the first proposed algorithm creation of regional forestry cluster of enterprises Khmelnytsky and Rivne regions, improved methodological approach to creating competitive advantages in the region, the mechanisms of realization competitive advantages of forest production of the region.
