Duboviy V. Socio-economic problems of urbanization and ways of their decision (on the example of middle city)

The object of study: modern urbanization process. The aim of study: the development of theoretical principles, scientific and practical recommendations as for the solution of socio-economic problems of urbanization in the context of development of municipal service and facilities in towns. Methods of study: statistical and systematic analysis; comparative economic analysis; structural and logical modeling; expert assessments and static processing of results; method of forecasting; graphic methods. The practical significance of results lays in the fact that the theoretical concepts and methodological approaches determined in the present thesis work are the methodological basis of socio-economic reform and development of municipal service and facilities in towns. Scientific novelty of results lies in fact that it was the first time when the development of automated organizational and economic system of operational management over municipal service and facilities in towns was grounded. Were implemented: the system of development and implementation of personnel policies for employees of municipality institutions and organizations of urban service and facilities in towns in the context of the present time; methodical approach to thee process of improvement of operation, repair and maintenance of residence buildings. Further developments have got: goals and objectives of planning in current environment that consider the process of urbanization as a positive process; measures to reduce prime costs and tariffs of services that were provided to enterprises and organizations of municipal service and facilities in towns.
