The thesis is devoted to the issue of the automatic identification of the surgin characteristics of centrifugal superchargers for gas-compressor units of booster compressor station in the underground gas storage facilities. The identification methods of the surgin characteristics for centrifugal superchargers equipped with the gas turbine drive have been determined. The dependence of gas pressure ratio of the centrifugal supercharger on gas mass flux caused by change of the gas-compressor unit operating mode has been analyzed theoretically. The frequency curves and transfer function of the centrifugal supercharger have been determined. Formula of gas pressure ratio dependence on gas mass flux was obtained and used for automatic identification of the surgin characteristics of the gas-compressor unit. Influence of sampling rate of the gas-compressor unit information-bearing parameters was studied. The unshocked non-destructive method of the automatic identification of the surgin characteristics for the centrifugal supercharger with the gas turbine drive has been developed and implemented based on improved techniques for determing its flow and head-capacity characteristics. The general structure of the automatic control system by means of the gas-compressor unit was improved and together with subsystem software of the automatic identification of the surgin characteristics for centrifugal superchargers of the boosting compressor station was brought into pilot production at BCS “Bilche-Volytsya” and “Dashava” branch of PLD “Lvivtransgas”.
