Tsyganyk M. Folkloristic Activity of Yakiv Holovats’kyy.

In the thesis analyzed the folklore heritage is complex of Yakiv Holovats’kyy. The contribution of a researcher in the activities of «Rus’ka Tritsya» («Rus’ Trio»), shows his role in the western Ukrainian cultural revival, Ya. Holovats’kyy designated role as a professor of L’viv University, who studied folklore and folklore studies, analyzes the works of the scientist in the field of folk prose. Comprehensively covered the history of the formation the collection of folklore «Folk Songs of Halychyna and Hungarian Rus’», role, significance and reception publication in the context of the development of Ukrainian folklore.
