Khokhlova K. Development and standardization of tincture «Atherophyt-norma» for treatment of cardiovascular disease

The thesis is devoted to the development and standardization of tincture «Atherophyt-norma», and standardization of herbal raw materials which were used for its manufacturing. On the basis of conducted researches the optimal composition and technology of the tincture «Atherophyt-norma» were developed. The methods of identification of flavonoids, isoflavonoids and triterpene saponins by thin layer chromatography method and methods of quantitative determination of flavonoids and procyanidins by spectrophotometric method were developed and validated. The set of quality specifications and its requirements for the tincture were established. For two years period stability of the tincture under temperature not more than 25 ± 2 °С was proved. The specific activity and safety of the tincture were proved. The projects of monographs «Red Clover inflorescence» and «Low Cudweed grass» for the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine were developed according to the results of standardization of the herbal raw materials of the tincture.
