Malimon V. The formation and development of regional markets of medical tourism in Ukraine

Research object: process of formation and development of regional markets of medical tourism that is different from health tourism. Objective: development of theoretical-methodological bases and research-applied provisions of formation and development of medical tourism's regional markets in Ukraine. Methods: logical synthesis; synthesis, analysis and comparison; economic-statistical method; modeling; program-target method; graphical; cartographical. Results: model of multiplicative effect's assessment for regional economic from the development of medical tourism's regional market is developed, it provides for two research directions: from the perspective of having main and additional costs of medical tourists in territory of region and from the perspective of generating in region direct and indirect socio-economic benefits from the development of such market; improvement of justification of medical tourism's essence, which allowed to make separation of medical tourism's services into profiling (target) and providing (infrastructure) services; approaches towards reviewing of medical tourism's regional market, that allowed define RMMT as the system of basic and infrastructural institutions of region, that promote the creation and ensure development of medical tourism; methodical approaches to assessment the conditions of formation and development of medical tourism's regional markets, which include research of level of formation of medical, tourist and infrastructure subsystems of such market and allow to determine its potential regional centers; typology of innovation in the regional market of medical tourism; received further development: systematization of factors of medical tourism's regional market; approaches towards reviewing institutional environment of the regional market of medical tourism from the perspective of research of its formal and informal institutions, commercial and non-profit organizations associated with its formation, infrastructural institutions of RMMT development; justification of factors that impede innovation development of Ukraine's regions and directions of neutralization of their negative effects that allowed to develop stimulation instruments of innovative activity on RMMT; study of world experience of development of medical tourism's regional markets; approaches to formation of medical tourism's regional market, based on clustered principles to its building.
