Essay

Research object: processes of adsorption-desorption and catalytic synthesis during the CO oxidation reaction. Objective: to develop simple modeling approaches to study the basic processes of the CO oxidation reaction. Methods: method of chemical kinetics and lattice-gas, theory of stability. Results: ground-state diagrams are constructed; conditions of the existence of a bistable region and limit-cycle oscillatory regime are found; the effect of impurities on the dynamics of the reaction is investigated. Implementation: publications in scientific journals. Scope of use: theory of heterogeneous catalysis.
