Essay

The thesis is devoted to concerted about the problem of obtaining consistent coordinate series of permanent GNSS stations and parameters of zenith tropospheric refraction (primarily for Ukrainian stations). The solution of this problem allows to receive homogeneous coordinate solution free from effects introduced by changes in the methods of processing models, a priori data and software. The results of the consistent processing (reprocessing) of archival GPS observations performed at the Centre for Analysis of GNSS data at MAO NAS of Ukraine for the observation period from September 14, 2003 to November 4, 2006 (163 GPS weeks) for 29 GPS stations located in the Eastern Europe (12 of them are on the territory of Ukraine) are presented. For the first time, homogeneous coordinate solution in the IGS05 reference frame and the values of the zenith tropospheric refraction for 29 GPS stations are obtained. Despite of the use of different models and processing techniques, for example, different methods of fixing of reference coordinate frames, the models of ocean loading etc., the main influence on the precision of positioning and zenith tropospheric refraction at stations is caused by the usage of absolute models of combination antenna/radome combinations instead of relative and improved orbits of the GPS satellites and a priory model of tropospheric.
