The thesis is devoted to the study of the current state of Siberian Iris (Iris sibirica L.) coenopopulations in Ukraine. The study of chorological, environmental, cоenotical features, age and spatial structure of Iris sibirica coenopopulations was conducted. The ecological-coenotic characteristics of I. sibirica habitats were revealed. The spatial and age structure of I. sibirica coenopopulations from different parts of the areal was analyzed. The modern state of I. sibirica conservation was analyzed and recommendations to the optimization of its conservation were proposed
