Essay

In this paper a new section of near-surface geophysics - small deep magnetometry be suggests. The paper develops a new magnetometric method - magnetic scanning and the method of comparative analysis of magnetic properties. Based on this testing method was carried out magnetic scanning of typical examples of high-grade rocks of the Precambrian basement amphibolite's (Gaysinsky region) and granulite (Gajvoronsky region) complexes, as well as intrusive bodies (the Azov deposits of rare metals). Studies demonstrated the utility of the method magnetic scanning. Using magnetic scanning in the investigated area have been made to clarify and correct maps of the magnetic field and geological maps.
