Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the studying of the prevalence and structure of anemic syndrome in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus, pathogenetic mechanisms of its formation, differential diagnosis, peculiaties of use of epoetin-alfa, ferrous sulfate with D,L serin and their combinations depending on the nature of anemia. In 54,5% of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus different forms of anemic syndrome was revealed: anemia of chronic disease (39,4%), iron deficiency anemia (19,7%), anemia of chronic disease combined with iron deficiency (21,3%), autoimmune hemolytic anemia (14,9%), anemia predetermined by renal failure (4,7%). The closer relationship was in case of anemic syndrome with laboratory markers of inflammation - C-reactive protein and content of proinflammatory cytokines, severity of organ lesions and a summary index of inflammatory activity SLEDAI. The differences in the intensity of the inflammatory, changes in ferokinetic were shown depending on the type of anemia. The study represents the mechanisms of formation of autoimmune hemolytic anemia and marks that it was closely associated with the presence of antiphospholipid syndrome, level of antibodies to cardiolipin and beta-2-glycoprotein-1. The recommendations on the need for individualized treatment regimens of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus considering its type were done.
