Principles and basic tasks of economic incentives for the use and protection of agricultural lands were explained. Projected budget expenditures for the implementation of economic incentives for the use and protection of agricultural lands were defined. The essence of ecological-economic mechanism of economic incentives for the use and protection of agricultural land is profound. It is based on the set of interrelated activities aimed at raising the interest of people engaged in land use, conservation and protection of soil, taking measures for land protection from the negative effects of human activities. Conceptual foundations on improvement of methodological foundations for economic incentives for rational use and protection of agricultural land were formulated. They reveal the complex of species, indicators, sources of economic incentives, as well as responsibility for the deterioration of the natural properties of land. In order to ensure economic stimulation, using and protection of agricultural land approaches to the accumulation of funds coming from the loss of agricultural and forestry production, at the level of regional budgets are improved.
