Essay

Proposed in the thesis is problem of performance increasing of knowledge based interpreter with a dedicated set of instructions. The paper presents the process of designing of structural model of a knowledge-based system that formalizes the decision problem of choosing the minimum number of system's processes and system interface organization. Improved in the thesis is designing process of hardware knowledge-based interpreter based on behavioral model, which contains additional solutions for control unit decomposition, memory organization and memory data separation in the memory. Based on the proposed design algorithms, it was designed hardware knowledge based interpreter as IP-module. The performance of hardware based interpreter compared to the known software based interpreter is higher at the average from 2 to 12 times.
