In the thesis the effective methods of predictive vector control are developed and scientifically substantiated. On their basis simplified structures of automatic regula-tion for the induction electric drive (IED) with pulse-width modulation (PWM) cur-rent source inverter (CSI) are designed. They provide high-speed control of electro-mechanical processes (with adjustment of stator current time and that of electromag-netic torque 6-24 ms) and improved energy performance of the mentioned electric drive (for the nominal rating: with a power factor not less than 0,99 and the total harmonic distortion of line current less than 4,7%). The electromagnetic and electromechanical processes of IED with PWM CSI were investigated on its simulation model and experimental example with suggested control when induction motor speed or rotor position was adjusted and the line volt-age was failed and then recovered subsequently. The speed parameters and energy performance of the studied IED with PWM CSI were determined. It is shown that the suggested control, and developed regulation structures of IED with PWM CSI can be used in general industrial and special (positional and follow-up) electric drives.
