Kovalova M. Optimization of Territorial Organization System of the Forest Industry Complex of Ukraine (regional aspect)

The object of study: the process of formation of territorial-industrial forms of optimization of economy of the region. The aim of study: the development and grounding of scientific and methodological recommendations for implementation of system of territorial organization of forest-industry complex (FIC) of Ukraine. Methods of study: dialectical; abstract, logical and historical analysis; economic and statistical methods; SWOT-analysis; method of comparative analysis; systemic-structural analysis; economics and mathematical analysis; method of modeling. The practical significance of results lies in the usage of conclusions of the thesis work regarding the location of logistics warehouses, choice of places for furniture industry companies' construction, as well as in the study process during different subjects teaching. Scientific novelty of results lies in fact that it was the first time when the definition of "forest-industry complex region" was defined. Were implemented: the mechanism of public-private partnership in the field of forest-industry complex taking into account the regional peculiarities of the FIC development; the system of management over the FIC development at the regional levels; the optimization model of regional logistics system of FIC. Further developments have got: conceptual aspects of the operation and development of FIC at the regional levels; methods of determining of places for logistics warehouses of wood-working enterprises and furniture production companies construction; methods of optimization of territorial organization of inter-branch complexes at the regional levels.
