Essay

The object of study: the processes of socio-economy development of the region. The aim of study: the improvement of theoretical methods and grounding of scientific-methodological approaches for uprising of efficiency of management of socio-economic development of the region. Methods of study: systematic approach; method of abstraction; analysis and synthesis; method of generalization; statistical analysis; method of regression and correlation analysis; method of comparison; method of systematization; problem-targeted method; method of organizational modeling; decomposition of control system. The practical significance of results lies in fact that the results of the present thesis work have found their practical implementation in activity of: Executive Committee of Makeyevka City Council of Donetsk region; Head economic governance of Donetsk City Council; etc. Scientific novelty of results lies in fact that it was the first time when the methodical approach to evaluating of effectiveness of socio-economic development of the region was suggested. Were implemented: the process of management of socio-economic development of the region through its characteristics definition; the mechanism of decision-making and control in the system of information and coordination management. Further developments have got: the analysis of condition and problems of management of socio-economic development of the region (for example, of Donetsk region); different approaches to the process of monitoring of socio-economic development of the region; the conditions and groundings of development of the region in the context of urban development through the process of combination of two economic systems.
