Essay

The object of study - the processes that occur during the heating and melting of the electrode containing an exothermic coating mixture on the alternative binder. The aim is to improve the composition of the electrodes with an exothermic mixture in a coating for repair welding. During the research were applied standard X-ray and chemical methods of analysis of welded metal, the direct measurement of temperature of heat coatings by thermocouple, research of welding and technological properties of the known methods. To study the properties of welded joints were conducted metallurgical study of micro-and macro-structures of prototypes. Processing of the results of research conducted using statistical methods. Novelty: - first established a positive effect on starch sodium aluminate when used as a binder electrode coatings of exothermic mixture and obtained quantitative estimates provide at low viscosity and high density non-oxigen binder, reducing pressure in the press, increasing the mechanical strength cover and reduce the binder burnout, first established qualitatively and quantitatively, the effect of adding a scale from rolling production of exothermic mixture electrode coating uniformity and core melting electrode coverage and quality of the weld metal, which leads to increased productivity of repair welding; was further develop understanding of the mechanism of exothermic mixtures on the nature of thermal processes in the coating and core electrodes considering studies the relationship between the composition and the number of exothermic mixture, coating thickness and electrode melting rates and the quality of the weld metal.
