Essay

The thesis is devoted to studying the mixed problems for different classes of doubly nonlinear elliptic-parabolic equations with variable exponents of nonlinearity and the systems of these equations. The second chapter deals with the mixed problems for doubly nonlinear elliptic-parabolic equations with variable exponents of nonlinearity. In third chapter we considered mixed problems for two different types of equations. One is doubly nonlinear parabolic equation with variable exponents of nonlinearity and second is doubly nonlinear elliptic-parabolic equation with variable exponents of nonlinearity. The Dirichlet-Neumann mixed problems for doubly nonlinear anisotropic equations are investigated in the fourth chapter. In the fifth chapter we established the conditions of existence of solution for the systems of two equation. One is the second order doubly nonlinear parabolic equation and other is the fourth order semilinear parabolic equation.
