Gurelya V. Agrarian and ecological characteristics of introduced plants in the area of radioactive contamination

The thesis is devoted to the integrated study of plant introduction in the contaminated areas. The thesis presents the results of complex four-year research characteristics of radioactive contamination of herbage of introduced plants Ukrainian Polissia. The vertical distribution of 137Cs in 0–100 cm soil layer was investigated. The features of the migration of 137Cs in soil food webs, plant were defined depending on the phase of vegetation, plant species and fertilizer. Conversion factor of 137Cs introduced plants with plants that are traditionally used as food was compared. Allowable contamination density of soil was calculated for growing food plants on condition of not exceeding DR-2006 standards of the specific activity of 137Cs in animal products. And the resulting synthesis provides the grounds for introducing into the production this technological model of pasture which is based on perennial and annual forage crops introduced, and provides high-quality feed, which will meet the requirements of DR-2006.
