The thesis is dedicated to the complex research of biology of introducted plants from family Vitaceae Juss., generas Cissus L., Cyphostemma (Planch.) Alston, Tetrastigma (Miq.) Planch., a total of 13 species. Certain diversity has been found in the growth and development of vegetative shoots. The xerophyte-inherent branchfall has been described. The mesoxerophyte group singled out. It has been shown that Cissus tuberosa DC shows a thickening of shoots.
