Essay

Subject matter of the study: monitoring and control of thermoacoustic processes using the specialized computer systems for the thermoacoustic devices efficiency improve. The main objective of the study - the development of mechanisms, algorithms, structure, software and hardware for the specialized computer system for control and parametric optimization of thermoacoustic processes. Methods: methods of automatic control theory and algorithms of digital signal processing; least squares and regression analysis; finite differences method; numerical methods for multimodal function optimization; Tustin conversion; methods of fuzzy logic. Novelty: further developed mathematical model of thermoacoustic processes based on Rott’s equations and finite differences method which through the use of developed software components allows real time calculation of the spatial distribution of thermoacoustic device physical parameters; the developed structure of specialized computer system, whose sensory hardware, as opposed to known, is based on the modified indirect method of determining acoustic parameters using the two-point information-processing circuit that gives it universal properties and allows monitoring and experimental studies of different types of thermoacoustic devices; further developed mechanism for parametric optimization of thermoacoustic systems which by using the experimental frequency characteristics and the gradient method for multimodal functions optimization allow to improve the efficiency of electro-acoustic devices by the definition of the resonant operating frequency in search mode; was further developed mechanism for the thermoacoustic devices structural components identification by approximating an experimental set of dynamic links and nonlinear elements using the methods of linear and nonlinear regression, providing the simplification and improvement of the adequacy of thermoacoustic devices mathematical models based on experimental data; for the first time was developed the structure and experimental model of computer automatic control system of the thermoacoustic device of type "TAE - TAHP" which allows the parametric optimization of structured volume of resonator and investigation of the effects of structural and parametric changes on the external TAHP characteristics using the indirect methods for determining acoustic parameters; improved rules base of fuzzy controller for digital circuit control for combined temperature parameters and acoustic pressure derivative that enhances the robust properties of thermoacoustic device of type "TA engine - TA heat pump". The results of the research were implemented during two research projects, are used in the learning process of the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, as well as in the "Ukrainian Scientific Research Institute of Marine Engineering Technology." Scope: information-measuring system and thermoacoustic processes monitoring and control systems.
