Essay

The development of Turkish studies in Ukraine within the period of its independence is analyzed in the dissertation. The level of historiography development of the themes of the dissertation is ascertained, the existing academic, scientific and educational institutions of Ukraine, which directly or indirectly have researched these areas of oriental science, are examined. The key issues of Turkish studies studied by Ukrainian specialists are identified and analyzed. The range of issues that require further research is defined.
