Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of new approaches to controlling Ambrosia artemisifolia L. by phytocoenotic measures of fighting with it. According to the indicators of species richness, frequency of occurrence and abundance analyzes of spread Ambrosia artemisifolia L. in phytocenoses residential areas and agricultural landscapes Vinnitsa region were made. From 99 to 382 individuals of ragweed are extended per 1 m2 in the studied phytocenoses, the viability of seeds is 66.7-100%, annual occurrence increases from 95-100%. Based on indexes of age and the effectiveness of populations it is determined that the populations of Ambrosia artemisifolia refer to young and transient populations, this indicates about the invasion of studied species and the high sehetalnyy potential in which it has significant energy burden on populations of other species groups. It is proposed to use the herbs of aboriginal origin for phytocoenotic control of Ambrosia artemisifolia L. They include new varieties of grass hay, pasture grasses: Festuca orientalis (Hack.) V. Krecz. (grade Lyudmila), Festuca rubra L. (grade Ira), Lolium perenne L. (grade Ruslana), Elytrigia intermedia (Host) Nevski (grade Horse), Bromopsis riparia (Rehm.) Holub (grade Bojan), Agropyron pertinatum (Bieb.) Beauv. (grade Petrovsky). Among them the most competitive ability to Ambrosia artemisifolia observed Agropyron pertinatum, Elytrigia intermedia, Lolium perenne.
