Object - management processes of the movement driven of the electrodes on the steelmaking arc furnace; goal - increasing of efficiency of electric arc furnaces by improving management systems by the movement driven of electrodes; methods - nonlinear differential equations, generalized Lagrange equation, the method of digital mathematical modeling, methods of fuzzy logic; novelty - a mathematical model of electromechanical management system by the movement driven of the electrodes of the steelmaking arc furnace had been further developed; it differs in that it allows to take on discount the influence of electromechanic fluctuations of flexible cables on the stability of burning electric arcs; fuzzy-correctors had been first synthesized; they compensate of electro-mechanical fluctuations of flexible cables and improve the efficiency of the arc furnace; the technique of optimization of movement driven of the electrodes on the steelmaking arc furnace that increases the stability of the smelting process by reducing the variance of the lengths of the arcs at 94-98% and reduce power consumption by 5 , 3% by reducing the duration of melting at 3.2%. The developed management systems by the movement driven of electrodes adopted for industrial use, as evidenced by the relevant act. The results of the thesis can be used in the electric power industry to improve EAF AC and in the educational process.
