Essay

The dissertation provides the substantiation of safe mining parameters on the basis of established regularities of forming filtrational and geomechanical watershed layer sustainability with account for changes of their substance while closing down coal or salt mines as well as separate sites. The account of kinetic solution processes, disjunctive breaks, technogenic de-formation of enclosing rocks and watershed layers by hydraulic head parameters, fil-trational confluence size, hydraulic and geomechanical irregularities of bedded for-mation is proved. It permits to use supplementary rigidity barrier reserve and make decisions on closing-down mines. Hydraulic and geomechanical parameters of water-shed layers and filtration water irruption risk are estimated by modeling filtrational and geomechanical processes caused by mine flooding. The developed technique of water irruption risk assessment allows to get over 700 thousand UAH economic benefit.
