The object of the study: is the process of problem formation and development of small business in the regions of Ukraine, the purpose of the study: is to identify regional problems of small business and developing effective ways to address them; theoretical and practical results: research investigates approaches to determining the nature and structure of small business, justified its role and place in the regional economy and analyzes the factors that influence the development and operation of small businesses in the region, identified prerequisites for the formation of small businesses, defined the dynamic characteristics of its development in the regions of Ukraine, the estimation of efficiency of MP, described the regional problems of competitiveness of small business, Conceptual foundations of small business development in the region, the model of the effective functioning of MT region is proposed organizational-economic mechanism to support small business development in the region, the degree of implementation: ChSTU, CHODA; Scope: regional economy.
