Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the improvement of the resonant DC-DC converters for the inductive contactless energy transfer (ICET) with improved pulse-number control. The electromagnetic processes in the converter were studied and the law of voltage change on the resonant tank was found. The mathematical model of the series-resonant converter was improved to consider the ICET magnetic system parameters influence on the converter performance. The static and dynamic characteristics were analyzed. The output power and efficiency changes due to the ICET magnetic system parameters and deep output current regulation influence were studied and the efficiency of the improved pulse-number control was proved. The intellectual control system was synthesized to provide the internal model control of the output current. The computer simulation was performed using MATLAB-Simulink and Infolytica MagNet. The simulation results coincide with the theoretical calculations and experimental results. The maximal error does not exceed 12%.
