The thesis explores the theoretical basics of the analysis of transborder co-operation, meaning and institutionally-economical aspects, of resource and organizational maintenance of transborder co-operation of bordering territories. The Institutionally-legal peculiarities of the modern transborder co-operation; institutional forms of the international economic integration; the effectiveness of the institutionally-economic structures as for the competitiveness of the region in the transborder co-operation are defined in the thesis.
