Essay

Research object: Yukawa fluids and Maier-Saupe nematogenic fluids confined by a hard wall. Objective: investigation of the impacts of a hard wall and density field fluctuations on equilibrium properties of simple and anisotropic fluids. Methods: density field theory. Results: structural and thermodynamic properties are explored; expressions for pair correlation functions, density profiles, adsorption coefficients, and order parameter profiles are calculated. Implementation: publications in scientific journals. Scope of use: theory of complex fluids and surface phenomena.
