Essay

Research object: the three-dimensional Ising model with exponentially decreasing potentialin an external field near the critical point. Objective: to obtain expressions for free energy, equation of state and susceptibility. Methods: collective-variables method; renormalization-group methods; analytic calculations. Results: expressions for free energy and order parameter are obtained; generalized form for scaling equation of state is proposed; susceptibility is calculated. Implementation: publications in scientific journals. Scope of use: theory of critical phenomena.
