Essay

The thesis deals with the freezing and thawing gravel filters during their manufacture and operation in order to improve low-temperature technology. The paper analyzes the existing technology of gravel filters, their advantages and disadvantages. We consider the low-temperature technology of gravel filters and shows the need for studies to determine the heat and mass transfer processes of rational technology parameters. The analysis methods for studying the dispersion of water-filled environment, which consists of a filter. We propose and justify a model of low-temperature freezing and thawing gravel, have developed a numerical method for calculating the parameters of the process. Verification of the mathematical model and algorithm based on a comparison of calculation results with available theoretical and experimental data. The effective parameters of low-temperature technology and the exploitation of gravel filters. A study of freezing gravel and determined the dependence of the filter temperature, humidity, time of freezing on the conditions and method of freezing. A study of thawing gravel and determined the dependence of the filter temperature, time, the destruction of the filter stages thawing. Developed recommendations for determination of parameters low-temperature production and operation gravel filters.
